Care Coordinator Lead / Senior Care Coordinator

Manatee is a family-first, virtual clinic providing therapy, coaching, and tools to empower modern families. As our Lead Care Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in connecting families to care, managing operations, and mentoring the care coordination team - making a direct impact on children and families across the US. 

About the Role:

This is a player-coach position where you’ll guide families, lead administrative processes, and help improve care delivery. You’ll manage family onboarding, provider scheduling, build referral relationships, serving as the first line of support for families looking for Manatee’s services. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Streamline Processes: Identify and implement improvements to enhance family experiences, reduce response times, and accelerate access to care. Develop strategies to optimize workflows for efficiency and consistency.
  • Shape Our Voice: Define our customer service tone and refine support processes. Create and maintain SOPs, templates, and resources to elevate family interactions.
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Lead compassionate, proactive consultations to assess family needs, ensuring trust and engagement from the start.
  • Lead and Support: Mentor teammates, provide training, and confidently handle escalated concerns to uphold a high standard of care coordination. 
  • Orchestrate Coordination: Oversee scheduling, matching families with providers, and managing customer support, ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience.
  • Champion the Family Experience: Be the advocate for families, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their journey with Manatee.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer support, care coordination, or admin roles.
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience and a strong desire to mentor others.
  • Skilled in scheduling, billing, and using CRM/EHR systems.
  • [Bonus] Spanish speaking fluency
  • Empathetic communicator with top-tier organizational skills.
  • Natural problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
